Communications committees are charged with public relations, communication, and outreach to the community.

Public Relations Committee
Time: Ongoing
# of People: 5-7 People
Description: The purposes of the Public Relations Committee shall be:

To develop in cooperation with Association officers a program of “internal” and “external” public relations that will continuously present work of the Association.

To send regular copies of local press releases and reports to CEA and NEA.

To identify itself with specific projects sponsored by the CEA.

Social Media Committee
Time: Ongoing
# of People: 3-5 People
Description: The purposes of the Webmaster and Social Media Committee shall be:

To maintain the GEA website and other social media.

Advertise GEA events and important information through our platforms.

Newsletter Editor and Committee
Time: Ongoing
# of People: 2-3 People
Description: The Newsletter Committee will work with the VP of Communications in putting together stories and information for the monthly Newsletter.
